3rd grade - Language Arts; working with the title Flat Stanley while working with a geographic location, each student creates a story about where the well-traveled Stanley goes on his journeys and what happens to him along the way. Teacher librarian would provide tie-ins with information literacy and technology web 2.0 expansions.
4th grade - Music - movement and dance; students select one culture and learn research their dances. Students will then explain the significance and perform the musical games and dances from the culture.
5th grade - social studies; inquiry into the presidents; students select one to learn more about; they make judgments as to his administration's success or failure.
